Miya supported the development of the 2021 Torres Strait State of the Environment (SoE) Report Card in collaboration with the TSRA’s Land and Sea Management Unit, Hodge Environmental and TerraFormDesign.
The SoE provides an overview of the health of the region’s key values. It draws on available traditional and scientific knowledge and incorporates professional judgement to describe the condition of important cultural and natural values.
The SoE helps to review progress, reflect our current understanding, refine priorities and highlight actions and investment required to help achieve the vision for land and sea management in the region.
